Cyclone Seroja Proof Monkey Bars

Tropical cyclone Seroja ripped across a 1,000km stretch of WA, leaving a trail of damage.

Now that the cyclone has come and gone, many regional Western Australians are assessing the damage and counting the cost of the destruction left behind.

Northampton, alongside beach town Kalbarri, was the worst impacted by the category three cyclone, which has left many without homes and businesses destroyed.

Elizabeth Rae from Northampton has shared photos showing their Growplay Monkey Bars surviving the full force of the cyclone!

"Hey guys,

Just wanted to give you some positive feedback and share a quick photo!
We are up in Northampton and have just been hit with category 3 cyclone Seroja.
One of the few things left standing in my backyard was our play equipment!
You can now add cyclone proof to your boxes!!!

Thanks
Elizabeth Rae"

Growplay Monkey Bars Cyclone Seroja

Northampton, which has a population of about 800 people, is known for it’s remarkable ability to produce AFL footballers, including inaugural Eagle Andrew Lockyer, former Fremantle star Paul Hasleby, West Coast premiership player Daniel Chick and Geelong champion defender Harry Taylor.

Elizabeth is our photo competition winner for April and has won a $250 Growplay Gift Card to grab some new accessories!

We are glad to hear everyone is safe and well, and we send our thoughts to all those who have been affected.

Donations can be made to the Lord Mayor’s Distress Relief Fund to support those affected by Tropical Cyclone Seroja here.
